Bruges is known as one of the historical art cities of Flanders.
At a 10 minute walk there is one of the historic gates, the Gentpoort, and the green girdle, ‘de vesten’ (the old ramparts).
From the Gentpoort you can easily walk through the small streets of Bruges into the center. The market and main shopping areas are located on 15 minutes from the Gentpoort.
Bruges is also known as a shopping city and a gastronomic hotspot with several star restaurants and other nice addresses
